Our Mission:



To provide physical treatment and rehabilitation services to maximize your recovery and wellness.

 

We specialize in back pain, neck pain, sports injuries including shoulder pain, knee injuries and ankle pain as well as rehabilitation following orthopaedic surgery. In addition we have a clinical pilates studio and massage and myotherapy practitioners.


Established in 1990, fully renovated in 2008, the clinic has private treatment rooms and a central rehabilitation/pilates area.



Hours:

Monday to Friday 8.00am to 6.30pm

Saturday 9:00 am to 12:00pm

Appointments are scheduled to meet the needs of busy people who expect to come and go on time, we ensure you receive careful individual attention with thirty minutes of physiotherapist contact during a standard consultation

 

Our physiotherapists are members of the Australian Physiotherapy Association.

Postgraduate Masters in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy (manipulative physiotherapy) plus 1 year Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy Training Program. Specialist training in back pain, neck pain and neck related headache.

Masters in Sports Physiotherapy (La Trobe University), APA Titled Sports Physiotherapist, Australian Olympic Handball Team Physiotherapist. Postgraduate training in Temperomandibular Joint pain, shoulder injuries and Mulligan techniques.

Sally

Sally Miller:

 

Is the physiotherapist to the Australian Junior Aerial Ski Team and University Blacks A Grade VAFA football team. In addition to Sports Physiotherapy, Sally has a significant interest in Pilates and Women's Health.

Derek

Derek Mansfield:

 

Physio for the Australian Men's Olympic Volleyball Team, Waverley Rugby Club, currently completing Masters of Sports Physiotherapy and significant post-graduate continuing education, including the McKenzie Method of treating neck and back pain.

Jonathon

Jonathon Lentzos:

 

Physiotherapist with a Certificate III and IV in Fitness and currently employed by the University of Melbourne in research analyzing knee joint osteoarthritis.

If you have HBA, Medibank Private, Mutual Community and MBF cover you are eligible to receive significant discounts as we are a preferred provider. We can electronically direct bill all private health insurance claims through our HICAPS system.

We are accredited and experienced with Work-Cover, TAC, DVA, and the MEDICARE/ EPC program.


Liaison with doctors, surgeons or fitness consultants is welcomed.

We are located at 361 Church St, Richmond, 3121. The Clinic is midway between Swan St. and Bridge Rd, approximately 100 meters south of the landmark St. Ignatius Church.

If catching public transport, tram-stop #58 is in front of the clinic. East Richmond train station is a 5 minute walk away and Richmond train station is 10 minutes.
