Ben Bond

Ben is a Level 2 Australian Physiotherapy Association Sports Physiotherapist completing his Masters of Sports Physiotherapy (Latrobe University). He is team Physiotherapist for the Australian Winter Olympic Institute (Cross Country Skiing), and has toured both nationally and internationally as team physiotherapist with a National Road Series Cycling Team, most recently as the Physio for the 2016 “Tour of Japan” with Attaque Gusto Cycling Team. In addition, he runs mobile physiotherapy clinics at major international mountain bike events.

Ben has post graduate training in sports and spinal physiotherapy along with dry needling and specific running assessment. He has a keen interest in lower limb overuse injuries, particularly running and cycling, and the bio-mechanical deficiencies associated with these. Ben and Emily Allen are our ‘go to’ physiotherapist for running assessment. They utilise slow motion video analysis in his assessment to develop a targeted, individualised and functional rehabilitation program.

Ben is a former Ovens and King Football League Senior Best and Fairest and Bright Football Club Senior Captain and, with a passion and knowledge of Alpine and Nordic skiing, is more adept than most physio’s in assessing, treating and preparing skiers of all levels for the upcoming winters.
