Simon Lumb is one of the Melbourne Victory A-League Physiotherapists and has almost completed his Postgraduate Masters of Musculoskeletal (muscles and skeleton) Physiotherapy specializing in back and neck pain. He is a Level 2 Australian Physiotherapy Association Sports Physiotherapist including working with the University Blues and Old Xavierians Football Clubs (A Grade Amateurs). As a 7 year experienced Physio from the University of Melbourne, Simon has extensive experience in private practice as well as Epworth and Austin Hospital post surgery post-surgery rehabilitation. His further areas of particular expertise include dry needling, children’s orthopedic injuries, headaches, jaw disorders, cycling injuries, hip injuries and Osteopathic Muscle Energy Techniques.
Simon is passionate and dedicated to working to achieve long term outcomes. He is a trained clinical pilates instructor which he incorporates into the rehabilitation of both acute sporting injuries and chronic pain. Outside of work Simon plays high level hockey and enjoys getting down the coast to surf.
