Milly is an enthusiastic Myotherapist, passionate about sports injury and rehabilitation with extensive experience working in elite sport, currently with the Collingwood Football Club (both Men’s and Women’s AFL teams) and, in the past with Melbourne Storm, Melbourne Rebels and the Western United Football Club.
She graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Myotherapy in 2019 at Endeavour College of Natural Health (one of Australia’s most comprehensive Massage/Myotherapy training facilities) and is a registered member of Myotherapy Association Australia.
While Milly has a particular interest in sports related injury and rehabilitation, she also enjoys treating chronic and acute injuries whether they be postural (e.g. related to your occupation) or if you’ve pulled up stiff and sore from a weekend of gardening, sport, or house renovations. Milly has particular interest in treating the hip and lower back region as well as the lower limb and shoulder region.
Injury prevention is a big part of Milly’s approach to treatment including correcting postural inconsistencies to improve mobility and achieve a pain free way of living. With an array of different techniques including Dry Needling, Cupping, Trigger Point Therapy, Joint Mobilisation, Myofascial Techniques and Exercise Prescription Milly believes that by utilising a combination of hands-on manual therapy and Exercise Rehabilitation she will contribute to your personal journey to recovery.
